Purpose:
Ftalchem enamel is designed for decorative and protective coating of steel and cast iron structures, devices, and machinery used under various working conditions. The enamel is intended for the protective and decorative painting of equipment, machinery, and devices, as well as steel and iron structures, wooden elements, building joinery, dado panels, and certain plastics. It is especially recommended for external and internal coatings of steel structures, external surfaces of tanks, construction and agricultural machinery, and other surfaces where particularly good resistance properties, flexibility, and good adhesion are essential. The enamel requires the application of a primer coat.
Characteristics:
A suspension of pigments and fillers in a solution of modified phthalic resin in organic solvents, with the addition of driers, pigments, and auxiliary agents. The enamel is available in a full range of colors, including shades compliant with the RAL color chart. Custom colors are available upon individual agreement with the customer.
Product properties:
Phthalic enamel has good application properties. It forms highly adhesive, durable, and flexible protective-decorative coatings with high durability and gloss. It demonstrates excellent adhesion to previously applied coatings. The enamel has good weather resistance. Phthalic enamel also features very good substrate adhesion and good mechanical properties. The resulting coatings are smooth, flexible, resistant to impacts, and to varying and elevated temperatures.
Packaging:
Available in various packaging sizes: 1L, 5L, 10L, 20L. The enamel is available in a full range of colors, including shades compliant with the RAL color chart.
